Thousands of devotees from in and around Samtse are attending the six days' world peace prayers or the Moenlam Chenmo in the Dzongkhag which began today. Presided over by H.E. Laytshog Lopen, around hundreds of monks are reciting the prayers. The Moenlam Chenmo is being held for the well being of His Majesty the King, the country, the people and all sentient beings.The prayer will end on 12th of this month.
