On the joyous occasion of the 35th Birth Anniversary of Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen, Samtse Dzongkhag celebrated the day with great reverence.
The celebration was led by Dasho Dzongrab, regional heads, and sector heads. The program began with the offering of butter lamps and Zhabten for the long life and well-being of Her Majesty, followed by the cake-cutting ceremony at Samtse Dratshang.
Similar offerings of butter lamps, prayers, and a cake-cutting ceremony were also held at Shivalaya Mandir, Samtse, to mark the auspicious day.
