On September 9, 2024, The Dzongkhag administration, Rabdey, District Court, Gewog administrations, and Regional Offices of Samtse join the nation in celebrating the joyous occasion of 1st Birth Anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Sonam Yangden Wangchuck. Commemorating the auspicious day, offered prayers and butter lamps at Rabdey Dratshang and Shivalaya Mandhir for prosperity, long life, and well-being of Her Royal Highness.

The statues of Zhabdrung have also been handed over to the Gups of fifteen gewogs.
