Her Excellency Minister of Health Sowai Lyonpo Dechen Wangmo visits Samtse Dzonkhag on 11th September 2019. The Tashi Khadar was offered to Her Excellency Sowai Lyonpo by sector heads and regional heads led by Dasho Dzongdag.

On 12th september 2019, the Ministry of Health, with the support of UNICEF launched the 'Sprinkles' at Samtse to address childhood Iron Deficiency Anemia (IDA) and stunting,The launch was graced by Her Excellency Minister for Health Sowai Lyonpo Dechen Wangmo.

Later afternoon, Sowai Lyonpo inaugurated HEALTH INFORMATION & SERVICE CENTER(HISC) at Samtse hospital. The event was attended by Dasho Dzongdag, Lam Neten, Dasho SP, sector heads, regional heads and the staffs of Samtse hospital.
