The Land & Survey Sector of Samtse Dzongkhag ensures proper land administration, cadastral survey, and efficient land management in compliance with national policies and regulations.

Mandate:
- Land Administration & Registration – Manages land transactions, ownership transfers, and registration processes.
- Cadastral Survey & Mapping – Conducts land surveys and maintains updated cadastral maps for accurate land records.
- Land Dispute Resolution – Assists in resolving land-related conflicts in coordination with relevant authorities.
- Government Land Management – Oversees the allocation, protection, and utilization of state land.
- Land Lease & Allotment – Facilitates land leasing and allotment for developmental and public use.
- Compliance & Policy Implementation – Ensures adherence to national land policies and regulations.
By ensuring efficient land management and accurate record-keeping, the Land & Survey Sector supports sustainable development and legal land ownership in Samtse Dzongkhag.
