The World Malaria Day was observed on 25th April 2019 at Tenpaling Chiwog ECR ground under Tading Gewog. Gewog Thrizin presided as chief guest on the day.

Around 75 people attended to observe the day. The observation venue was identified due to malaria endemic area and locality is very close to the border. Health worker from Samtse and chief guest addressed the gathering focussing on Malaria prevention.
