The STEAM Exhibition, organized by Norbugang Central School, was a resounding success and marked the first event of its kind in Samtse Dzongkhag. The occasion was graced by several esteemed guests, including the Honourable Dasho Dzongda of Samtse, the CEO of IceKa Beverages, Dasho OC of Norbugang, the Gup and ADM of Norbugang Gewog, along with principals, teachers, and students from Dorokha HSS, Gomtu HSS, Yoeseltse HSS, Khandothang PS, Norbugang PS, Nangladang PS, and Sangangchholing LSS.
The exhibition aimed to deepen students’ understanding of how modern technologies can address real-world challenges, promote hands-on coding applications, and nurture creativity and problem-solving skills. A wide array of scientific and technological innovations were showcased, including soap making, blood group testing, GPS applications, a wearable calorie monitor, line-following and obstacle-avoiding robots, a touchless water dispenser, an intelligent perimeter security system, and more.
The program was spearheaded by Mr. Sai Varma, an expert in coding and electronics, who guided and inspired the young participants throughout the event.
