The GovTech Agency, in collaboration with the Dzongkhag Administration, Samtse, and the DeSuung Office, has officially commenced the Bhutan National Digital Identity (NDI) Advocacy and Onboarding Program in Samtse Dzongkhag. This program is part of a nationwide effort to raise awareness and facilitate the smooth onboarding of citizens onto the Bhutan NDI platform.
The advocacy campaign focuses on educating the public on the features, benefits, and importance of the NDI app, which offers secure, efficient, and convenient access to both government and private-sector digital services. It aims to build public confidence and ensure that citizens understand how to use the app effectively.
As part of the initiative, trained DeSuups and Dzongkhag officials are working closely with communities to assist individuals—especially those with limited digital skills—in the onboarding process.
This initiative reflects the Royal Government’s commitment to building a digitally empowered and inclusive society, ensuring that no one is left behind in Bhutan’s journey toward a smarter and more connected future.
