The Samtse Dzongkhag Administration is pleased to report the successful completion of the Community Engagement Platform (CEP) roll-out in three pilot chiwogs. The final session was conducted on 11th May 2025 at Manigang_Tashithang Chiwog under Pemaling Gewog, marking the conclusion of the pilot program.

Training Summary
Each two-day program commenced with formal opening remarks by the respective Gups,
in the presence of Gewog Administrative Officers, Mangmis, and Agriculture Extension Officers.
A total of approximately 230 participants attended across the three locations.
Resource Person
Mr. Geling Gup from Haa Dzongkhag, deputed by the Department of Local Governance and Disaster Management,
Ministry of Home Affairs, served as the lead resource person for the training.

Formation of CEP Groups
A total of 17 Community Engagement Platform (CEP) groups were formed,
each comprising 10–28 members. These groups will collaboratively plan and implement
localized development initiatives.
Training Outcomes
Participants were equipped with the skills and knowledge to:
- Conduct Local Resource Mapping and Community Scans
- Develop Seasonal Calendars
- Draft Community Improvement Plans
- Prioritize development activities based on community needs
Finalized action plans are expected to be submitted by 16 May 2025, in consultation with respective Gewog Officials.
