The Dzongkhag Administration, in partnership with Sang-Ngacholing Gewog Administration and the Startup Centre, Dhamdhum, successfully launched the Youth Entrepreneurial Training Program at Sang-Ngacholing Gewog. This marks another significant milestone toward fostering youth empowerment, innovation, and entrepreneurship at the grassroots level as part of UNICEF community-based integrated programming approach.
The training will equip youth with essential entrepreneurial knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to explore self-employment opportunities, generate innovative business ideas, and contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of their communities. The sessions will be facilitated by professional trainers and will cover key areas such as business idea generation, financial literacy, marketing strategies, record-keeping, and sustainable enterprise development.
16 out-of-school youth from Sang-Ngacholing Gewog will be engaged in the training. Over the 13-day engagement, participants will network, share experiences, and develop confidence in initiating entrepreneurial ventures.
The successful conduct of this training was made possible through the joint efforts of our valuable partners.
