With funding support from the Integrated Program, UNICEF, the Dzongkhag Administration successfully completed a three-day Multi-Sectoral Task Force (MSTF) Training from 10th to 12th October 2025 at Phuentsholing.
The training focused on UNICEF’s key interventions in child wellbeing, including:
- Health and Nutrition: Improving child survival, growth, and development.
- Education: Enhancing access to quality and inclusive education.
- Child Protection: Strengthening systems and community-based mechanisms to safeguard children.
- WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene): Promoting safe hygiene practices and access to clean water.
- Adolescent and Youth Engagement: Empowering young people to contribute positively to society.
The training was attended by Dasho Dzongrab, Dasho Drangpon, Dasho SSP, RBP, Dratshang Drungchen, Samtse Rabdey, DT Thizin, Dy. Thrinzin, Thromdae Thumi, CBSS Coordinator, Dzongkhag Public Health Officer, Coordinator, Bhutan Red Cross, RENEW and sector heads.
The program aimed to equip participants with knowledge and practical tools to effectively implement and advocate for child-focused initiatives at the community level. The Dzongkhag Administration extends its sincere appreciation to UNICEF for their continued support in advancing child wellbeing and fostering coordinated multi-sectoral interventions.
