The Royal Bhutan Police (RBP) conducted an insightful awareness program on the theme “Crime and Drug-Related Social Issues” at Samtse. The session was led by the Deputy Chief of Police, who highlighted RBP’s core mandates, services to the people, and the shared responsibility of every individual in preventing crime and promoting a safe and harmonious society.

The program aimed to enhance public awareness of the increasing challenges posed by drug abuse and related crimes, emphasizing proactive community engagement and collective responsibility in ensuring law and order.

The session was graced by Dasho Dzongdag, Drangpoen, Dzongrab, Lam Neten and members of Samtse Rabdey, along with regional and sector heads, college faculty and students, teachers from Samtse HSS and LSS, business community representatives, Local Government members, and community members.

The event served as a meaningful platform to strengthen collaboration between law enforcement agencies and the public in fostering a crime-free and drug-free community.
