13th Moenlam Chenmo — Samtse Dzongkhag

25th October 2025 – 29th October 2025 · Samtse Higher Secondary School ground

The 13th Moenlam Chenmo of Samtse Dzongkhag concluded peacefully and auspiciously after five days of profound prayers, sacred rituals, and spiritual blessings. The grand prayer ceremony, presided over by the Venerable Dorji Lopen Rinpoche, began on 25th October 2025 and culminated on 29th October 2025 at the Samtse Higher Secondary School ground.

Throughout the five days, thousands of devotees gathered to participate in collective prayers for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of all sentient beings. The sacred atmosphere was filled with the sound of chants, the fragrance of incense, and the sight of devotees engaged in deep devotion and meditation.

As the ceremony drew to its conclusion, gentle drizzles blessed the gathering — a rare and auspicious sign of divine grace. The rain, believed to symbolize heavenly approval, offered cool relief from the sun and reminded everyone of the compassion and blessings of the Triple Gem.

The Moenlam Chenmo concluded with the sacred Sonjang Wangkur, a profound empowerment that signifies purification and renewal. The spiritual energy of the event left devotees with immense peace, joy, and inspiration to continue walking the path of virtue, mindfulness, and compassion. 🌸

On behalf of the Dzongkhag Moenlam Chenmo Committee, heartfelt appreciation is extended to everyone who contributed to the successful conduct of the event. The five-day Moenlam Chenmo was made possible through the collective effort, unity, and devotion of many individuals and institutions.

The Committee expresses sincere gratitude to:

  • The Local Government members from all 15 Gewogs
  • The Regional Offices and Financial Institutions
  • The Samtse Dzongkhag Administration staff

for their tireless dedication, teamwork, and selfless service. Your commitment, despite the long hours and challenging weather, exemplified the true spirit of service and faith.

Special thanks are also extended to the Security, Health, Catering, and Support Teams, the volunteers, and all devotees who came together with a shared sense of purpose and reverence.

As the 13th Moenlam Chenmo concludes, may the blessings of this sacred gathering bring everlasting peace, compassion, and harmony to all beings. May the light of wisdom continue to guide Samtse and the nation under the benevolent leadership of His Majesty The King. 🙏
