On the sacred and auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, the celebration was held with great devotion and spiritual fervor at Samtse Shivalaya (Su Tirtheswar Mahadev) Mandir on 15th February 2026.
The event was graciously attended by Hon’ble Dasho Dzongdag (Chief Guest) and Dasho Dzongrab, along with Sector Heads and Regional Heads. Their esteemed presence added dignity and honor to the holy celebration.
The programme commenced with the Jal Abhishek Puja inside the Mandir, where devotees offered prayers to Lord Shiva with deep reverence. This was followed by a Short Hawan Puja at the Hawan Kunda, performed amidst Vedic chants and spiritual observances. The celebration concluded with the offering and distribution of Prasad among the devotees.
The occasion was marked by unity, devotion, and collective prayer, making the Maha Shivaratri celebration a spiritually enriching and memorable event for all present.
