The Samtse Dzongkhag Administration informs all residents that stray cattle roaming within Samtse Municipality are causing safety hazards, traffic disruptions, and affecting the town’s cleanliness and beautification.
All cattle owners are requested not to allow their cattle to graze or roam freely within the municipal area.
Effective immediately:
Unattended cattle found within the municipality will be impounded for up to 3 days.
Owners may reclaim their cattle upon payment of an impounding fee of Nu. 1,000 per animal.
Cattle not claimed within the stipulated period will be relocated outside the municipal area without further notice, and the Dzongkhag Administration will not be held responsible thereafter.
The cooperation of all cattle owners is appreciated in maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly municipality.
