Dophuchen/Dorokha Gewog
Dophuchen Gewog, located to the north of Samtse Dzongkhag, spans 104.56 square kilometers and shares borders with Samtse and Phuntshopelri to the south, Duenchukha to the east, Doongtoed to the north, and Norbugang to the west. The gewog experiences warm summers, cold winters, and annual rainfall ranging from 1500mm to 4000mm. The altitude varies from 600m to 3000m above sea level, with gentle slopes. The soil consists of alluvial, sandy, and clayey loam types. The gewog is divided into six chiwogs: Aringgang-Midzomsa, Dangreyboog-Ngagang, Manigang-Thingyersa, Sangloong-Sengteng, Melonggang-Thuloonggang, and Singye.
