5th May 2025, Samtse – The handing-taking for the completed water borewell construction works under the Small Development Project (SDP) was held today.
The project includes three borewell sites—two at Gomtu and one at Pagli—constructed to address water scarcity and improve access to safe and reliable water sources for the local communities.
Officials from the implementing agency, site engineers, and local representatives participated in the joint inspection and official transfer of the completed sites. The borewells are now ready for community use and are expected to greatly benefit the residents of Gomtu and Pagli.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen essential services and uplift rural livelihoods under the SDP framework.
