Samtse Dzongkhag Administration has commenced underground water extraction works at Dhamdum starting from 24th April 2025. The initiative aims to develop an additional bore-well water source to support the water supply system for Samtse Dzongkhag Thromde.
The new bore-well is being constructed as a replacement for the previously washed-away pumping system.
The primary objective of this initiative is to improve the daily domestic water supply for the residents of Samtse Thromde, ensuring greater reliability and sustainability in water access.
