The handing-taking ceremony for the Goenpakha Irrigation Scheme at Lower Goenpakha, under Phuntshopelri Gewog, was successfully conducted on 5th May 2025.
The project, generously funded by the European Union (EU), marks a significant milestone in enhancing agricultural productivity and improving water accessibility for the local farming community.
The irrigation scheme is expected to benefit numerous households by ensuring a reliable water supply, particularly during critical farming seasons.
