The Samtse Dzongkhag Administration notifies all relevant stakeholders about the frequent damage to critical public infrastructure caused by the careless operation of heavy vehicles, particularly in industrial and construction zones across the Dzongkhag.
These damages have resulted in:
- Disruption of internet and communication lines
- Outages of electric power supply
- Damage to CCTV surveillance systems and emergency communication infrastructure
Such incidents cause major inconvenience to the public, disruption of essential services, and unnecessary repair costs.
All business establishments, including those in Norbugang Industrial Park, Dhamdhum Industrial Estate, construction companies, and boulder export operators, are hereby directed to:
- Exercise utmost caution when operating heavy vehicles near public utility infrastructure.
- Brief all drivers and operators on the location of utility infrastructure before beginning work.
- Immediately report any accidental damage to BPC, Dzongkhag ICT Sector, or RBP for timely repair.
