On 16th April 2020, Dzongkhag Administration staff, Dratshang, Drungkhags and Regional heads, participated in the official joining ceremony of hon'ble Dasho Dzongrab today.

The Dzongkhag Administration led by Dasho Dzongdag, Dasho Drangpon, Lam Neten, Dasho SP, RBA and RBP officials, Regional heads and Sector heads offered butter lamps and prayers at Samtse Dratshang and Shivalaya Mandir to mark the 114th National Day.

The Dzongkhag administration led by the Dasho Dzongrab and Sector heads offered butter lamps & prayers at Samtse Dratshang Lhakhang to mark the 4th Birth Anniversary of His Royal Highness the Gyalsey, Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck.

Samtse Annual Tshechu started from today.

Thousands of devotees from in and around Samtse are attending the six days' world peace prayers or the Moenlam Chenmo in the Dzongkhag which began today.

 All government offices and agencies will be closed today to commemorate the Coronation of His Majesty the First King of Bhutan, Druk Gyalpo Ugyen Wangchuck on December 17, 1907.
